The National Rural Recreation Mission Society (NRRMS) has announced the commencement of its recruitment drive for 2024, offering 4,572 positions across various roles. Eligible candidates can apply online at the official NRRMS website, nrrmsvacancy.in, with the application window remaining open until November 28, 2024.
The recruitment drive includes opportunities for a wide range of posts, such as District Project Officer, Accounts Officer, Technical Assistant, Data Manager, MIS Manager, MIS Assistant, Multi-Tasking Official, Computer Operator, Field Coordinator, and Facilitators. Aspiring applicants are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria carefully before submitting their applications.
The registration process requires candidates to pay an application fee, which is set at ₹350 for General, OBC, and MOBC candidates, and ₹250 for SC/ST and BPL candidates. The fee can be paid exclusively through online methods, including digital payment platforms like BHIM, PhonePe, Google Pay, and other banking apps. The notification clarifies that the application fee is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against any other project. Applicants are advised to ensure that all personal and academic details are entered accurately while completing the application form.
The selection process for NRRMS recruitment consists of two stages. The first stage is a written examination, which evaluates candidates’ aptitude and theoretical knowledge. The test is divided into two sections: the first assesses General English, General Knowledge, and Quantitative Aptitude, carrying a total weightage of 150 marks. The second section focuses on Knowledge of Computers (Theory), with a weightage of 50 marks.
The second stage involves a Computer Proficiency Test (Practical), which tests candidates’ hands-on computer skills. This practical test aims to assess their ability to perform various tasks on a computer and carries a weightage of 50 marks. Combined, these assessments ensure a comprehensive evaluation of candidates’ technical and practical abilities.
