Noida Authority organized Gram Chaupal meetings in multiple villages to hear residents’ concerns and ensure prompt resolution of civic and infrastructure issues.
Noida, February 19, 2026:
In continuation of its ongoing outreach initiative, the Noida Authority conducted Gram Chaupal sessions in villages under its jurisdiction to address local grievances and accelerate the resolution of civic issues. The programme, aimed at ensuring direct communication between officials and residents, was held in villages including Nagli Wajidpur and Kambakshpur.
The Gram Chaupal initiative has been designed to provide a structured platform where villagers can present their concerns related to infrastructure, utilities, and other development matters directly before the concerned departmental अधिकारियों. By organizing these sessions on a regular basis across different villages, the Authority seeks to ensure that issues are identified at the grassroots level and resolved in a time-bound manner.
During the Chaupal held on February 19, senior managers of the concerned Work Circle led the proceedings. Officials from multiple departments of the Noida Authority, including Water, Electricity and Mechanical, Horticulture, and Land Records, were present to review complaints and interact with residents. The participation of officers from diverse departments enabled on-the-spot assessment of various technical and administrative matters raised by villagers.
Residents highlighted several concerns related to civil works, water supply, sewer systems, drainage, and electricity infrastructure. Issues such as maintenance of internal roads, repair of damaged sewer lines, improvement of water supply systems, and enhancement of street lighting were discussed in detail. Villagers also sought timely upkeep of public spaces and horticultural maintenance within their respective areas.
Officials assured residents that their grievances would be addressed on priority. Following the interactive session, departmental teams conducted field inspections within the villages to physically verify the reported issues. During these inspections, several minor concerns were resolved immediately, demonstrating the Authority’s commitment to prompt action.
The Noida Authority emphasized that the Gram Chaupal programme is part of a broader strategy to strengthen participatory governance and ensure transparency in public service delivery. By engaging directly with villagers, the Authority aims to bridge communication gaps and create a responsive administrative mechanism.
According to officials, organizing regular Chaupal meetings helps in early identification of problems, thereby preventing escalation and ensuring efficient allocation of resources. The Authority reiterated that such initiatives will continue in other villages across its jurisdiction in the coming days.
The administration further stated that collaborative efforts between officials and residents are essential for sustained development. Villagers were encouraged to actively participate in future Chaupal sessions and present their suggestions for improving infrastructure and civic amenities.
The Gram Chaupal concluded with a reaffirmation of the Authority’s commitment to improving rural infrastructure, ensuring timely grievance redressal, and promoting inclusive development within the Noida region.
