A new video has surfaced showing Manorama Khedkar, mother of trainee IAS officer Puja Khedkar, in a heated argument with Pune Metro officials and police personnel. The video, which dates back to 2022, captures an incident outside the Khedkar family’s bungalow on Baner Road, Pune.
The conflict arose due to the ongoing construction of the Pune metro line between Shivaji Nagar and Hinjewadi. Workers had placed equipment on the footpath near the Khedkar’s bungalow, causing significant annoyance to Manorama. The noise from the construction further aggravated her, leading her to confront the metro officials.
The video shows Manorama alighting from her car and confronting the metro workers about the materials left near her house. As the argument escalated, metro officials called the Chaturshringi police. When the police arrived, Manorama shifted her argument to them, resulting in a tense exchange.
This is not the first controversy involving Manorama Khedkar. An older video had gone viral, showing her brandishing a pistol at farmers in Pune’s Mulshi tehsil during a land dispute. The incident led to an FIR being filed by Pune police, naming both Manorama and her husband, Dilip Khedkar, a retired government servant.
The Khedkar family has been elusive since the FIR was filed, and three investigative teams have been formed to trace their whereabouts. In the contentious video, Manorama, accompanied by bouncers, is seen allegedly threatening farmers with a pistol. This dispute involves 25 acres of land in Mulshi tehsil, which the farmers claim Dilip Khedkar encroached upon.
Additionally, trainee IAS officer Puja Khedkar has been embroiled in a separate controversy for allegedly abusing her authority and submitting fraudulent disability and caste certificates to qualify for the civil service exam. These allegations have further intensified scrutiny on the Khedkar family.
The emergence of this new video adds to the growing list of controversies surrounding the Khedkars, raising questions about their conduct and the integrity of the trainee IAS officer. As investigations continue, the public and authorities alike await further developments in these cases.
