As of 2024, the Namo Drone Didis initiative has been significantly expanded to include new features and greater reach. Key enhancements include the provision of drones to 15,000 women-led SHGs. The Cluster Level Federations (CLFs) of SHGs are encouraged to raise the remaining amount through loans under the National Agriculture Infra Financing Facility (AIF). To ease the financial burden, interest subvention of 3% on AIF loans will be provided to CLFs. Additionally, the scheme aims to ensure sustainable business models and livelihood support for SHGs, projecting an additional income of at least ₹1.0 lakh per annum per group.
