Investors should gear up for a busy week ahead, with several major Indian companies set to implement corporate actions like stock splits, bonus issues, and dividend payouts. Leading the pack are Bajaj Finance and Tata Technologies, both making high-profile announcements that could influence market sentiment and shareholder value. The window for eligibility — known as the ex-date — begins this coming week, making it crucial for investors to stay updated.
Bajaj Finance’s Double Bonanza
All eyes will be on Bajaj Finance as it undertakes two major actions on the same day — June 16, 2025. First, the company will issue bonus shares in a 4:1 ratio, meaning shareholders will receive four additional shares for each one they currently hold. Second, it will execute a stock split, reducing the face value of each share from ₹2 to ₹1. This move is expected to improve share affordability and enhance market liquidity. Investors owning shares as of the record date will be eligible for both benefits.
Big Dividends from Tata Technologies and Others
Tata Technologies has announced a special dividend of ₹3.35 per share and a final dividend of ₹8.35 per share. Both will go ex-date on June 16, 2025. Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto and Bank of India will reward shareholders with final dividends of ₹210 and ₹4.05 per share respectively, both effective from June 20, 2025.
Tata Communications is also offering a final dividend of ₹25 per share with an ex-date set for June 19, 2025. These dividend payouts, especially from blue-chip and high-performing companies, are significant and reflect strong financial performance and investor-friendly policies.
Additionally, a number of small and mid-cap companies have declared dividends. Noteworthy among them are HDFC Life (₹2.10), Punjab National Bank (₹2.90), Supreme Industries (₹24), Torrent Pharma (₹6), Tejas Networks (₹2.5), and Panasonic Carbon (₹12). Smaller but still relevant payouts will come from firms like Rossari Biotech, Greenlam, Swastika Investsmart, eMudhra, and Transcorp International.
The majority of these corporate actions will take place between June 16 and June 21, 2025. Investors aiming to benefit from these must ensure they are holding the respective stocks before the ex-date.
