Jasveen Sangha, a 41-year-old dual British and American citizen, has been charged in connection with the death of actor Matthew Perry. Known in the drug underworld as the “Ketamine Queen,” Jasveen Sangha is accused of supplying the lethal dose of ketamine that led to Matthew Perry’s death last year.
Jasveen Sangha, who has been under federal scrutiny for her involvement in the narcotics trade, allegedly operated a drug distribution network from her residence in North Hollywood, California. Her home, described in a federal indictment as a “drug-selling emporium,” was reportedly stocked with methamphetamine, cocaine, and prescription medications such as Xanax. Federal authorities seized 79 bottles of liquid ketamine and nearly 2,000 methamphetamine pills during a March raid on her property.
The investigation into Matthew Perry’s death revealed that Jasveen Sangha had supplied ketamine to Eric Fleming, who then distributed it to Matthew Perry. According to court documents, Jasveen Sangha provided Fleming with 50 vials of ketamine over two transactions in the weeks before Matthew Perry’s death. On October 13, Matthew Perry reportedly tried the drug for the first time, and Fleming delivered two large batches of ketamine to Matthew Perry’s residence on October 14 and October 24. Jasveen Sangha also included “ketamine lollipops” as a bonus for the substantial order.
Matthew Perry, known for his role in the television series “Friends,” was found dead at his home on October 28. His death was attributed to a ketamine overdose, a substance he had reportedly obtained through his connection with Fleming, who in turn had sourced it from Jasveen Sangha.
The case against Jasveen Sangha highlights the dangerous scale of her narcotics distribution operation and its tragic impact on Matthew Perry’s life.
