The situation prompted the United States to send its Central Command chief, Michael Kurilla, to Israel for discussions with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Additionally, the US embassy in Israel restricted the movements of its diplomats over security concerns.
Meanwhile, international calls for restraint echo, with Germany urging maximum restraint and Russia urging both Iran and Israel to exercise restraint. Amidst the diplomatic efforts, Israel continues to face criticism for its handling of the conflict in Gaza, as efforts for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid intensify.
