Indian archer Dhiraj Bommadevara, alongside his teammates, clinched a historic gold at the Archery World Cup Stage 1 in Shanghai, marking India’s first such victory in 14 years. The young archer, who has already secured an individual quota for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics, is now focused on transforming this into a team quota.
The men’s recurve team, consisting of Dhiraj Bommadevara, veteran Tarundeep Rai, and Pravin Ramesh Jadhav, triumphed over South Korea in the finals.
