Indian Paralympic athletes received a grand reception at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport upon their return from the Paris Paralympics, where they delivered a record-breaking performance. The team returned home with an impressive medal haul and was greeted by enthusiastic fans showering them with flower petals. The ongoing Paris Paralympics, which started on August 28 and concludes on September 8, has seen India achieve its highest-ever medal tally at the event.

  • This is the highest number of gold medals India has won at a Paralympics, surpassing the five golds won in Tokyo 2020.
