Historic ‘Pran Pratishtha’ Ceremony in Ayodhya Unveils Ram Lalla Idol

Following the 'Pran Pratishthan' ceremony, Prime Minister Modi offered his heartfelt prayers at the newly consecrated temple and later addressed the gathering.

In a momentous event that resonated across the nation and beyond, the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the sacred precincts of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya witnessed the unveiling of the Ram Lalla idol. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the ceremony, marking an extraordinary milestone in India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.

Joining the Prime Minister on this auspicious occasion were distinguished figures, including RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The ceremony was a deeply solemn and momentous event as the deity’s idol was consecrated at the temple town of Ayodhya also the birthplace.

Following the ‘Pran Pratishthan’ ceremony, Prime Minister Modi offered his heartfelt prayers at the newly consecrated temple and later addressed the gathering. Taking to Twitter, he eloquently expressed the profound significance of this event, stating, “Consecration was an extraordinary moment that would stir the emotions of all. It is a matter of great privilege to be part of this divine program.”

It is pertinent to note that, the ceremony drew the attention of not only the nation but also the world, with several prominent personalities from diverse fields gracing the occasion. Bollywood stars, prominent businessmen, star sports players, and devotees from far-flung regions arrived in Ayodhya to witness this historic moment.

Significantly, in addition to the grand event in Ayodhya, several programmes have also been scheduled across the the country to celebrate the temple’s inauguration and commemorate this momentous occasion. Citizens from all walks of life voluntarily contributed to celebrate this monumental event, highlighting the unity and cultural richness that define India.

How Indians Diaspora is celebrating Ayodhya temple inauguration

Remarkably, the fervor of the Temple’s ‘Pran Pratishthan’ was not limited to India alone. The Indian diaspora from across the globe enthusiastically joined in the celebration. In New York, Indian Americans illuminated Times Square with grand images of Lord Ram. In France, people gathered in front of the Eiffel Tower, chanting Lord Shri Ram hymns.

Mauritius, with its significant Indian diaspora also displayed their devotion by lighting ‘diyas’ at temples and reciting the ‘Ramayan Path.’ Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Prime Minister of Mauritius also extended his heartfelt greetings, saying, “Let us rejoice as Shri Ram returns to Ayodhya. May his blessings and teachings continue to light our way towards peace and prosperity. Jai Hind! Jai Mauritius.”
