In a bid to address the rising unemployment among the youth of the nation, the central government has initiated several significant schemes. One such initiative is the Prime Minister Kaushal Vikas Yojana, aimed at providing training to the increasing number of unemployed youth across the country. Launched by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, this scheme targets to provide training in 40 different sectors to tackle the unemployment crisis.
Online Training and Skill Development Opportunities
Under the PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana 2024, unemployed youth will receive training conveniently through online platforms without any charges. Additionally, practical courses will be conducted through Skill India Digital to enhance practical skills. Moreover, the government will provide a monthly stipend of Rs. 8000 to all trainees.
Objective of PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana 2024
The primary objective of the Prime Minister Kaushal Vikas Yojana is to offer training to unemployed youth who have completed their 10th and 12th standard education. Furthermore, those individuals who had to discontinue their education for various reasons will also receive practical training through Skill India Training Centers.
Certification and Financial Support
Upon completion of the practical courses, participants will be awarded certificates to facilitate their employment search. Additionally, eligible trainees will receive financial assistance of up to Rs. 8000 per month. This initiative aims to provide new avenues for Indian youth and open up opportunities in the job market.

To apply for the scheme, applicants must fulfill certain criteria:

– Should have at least passed the 10th standard.
– Should not be employed in any government-affiliated organization.
– Must be a citizen of India.
