Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], March 20 (ANI): Former Mrs Universe Intelligence winner 2017 Abhimanika Yadav is extremely excited to witness Miss World 2025 in her city, Hyderabad, Telangana, in May this year. She called it a big success for the city, saying that the event will help Telengana tourism to reach a global audience.
The 72nd edition of Miss World 2025 is set to take place in Hyderabad from May 7 to May 31. The preparations for the event are in full swing. The press conference ahead of the program was conducted today, which involved several dignitaries from the beauty pageant and former Miss Universe Intelligence crown winner Abhimanika Yadav.
While speaking to ANI, Abhimanika shared her happiness for being a part of the 72nd Miss World press conference and said that it helped her understand how Telangana could address global audiences through this upcoming beauty pageant.
Abhimanika acknowledged that hosting this international beauty pageant in Telangana is a significant achievement, putting the state on the world map. She emphasised that this opportunity will allow Telangana to highlight its tourism attractions, cultural heritage, and natural wonders, making it an exciting destination for global travellers.
“It is such an honour to be a part of this event today and to understand how Telangana can reach a global platform with this event. And participating and getting this kind of event in our city in itself is a huge success. I would say we have come to that one part of bringing Telangana tourism to the global audience to let people know that Telangana exists,” said Yadav.
With the Miss World pageant, Abhimanika believes that Telangana has taken a significant step in promoting its tourism industry, showcasing its unique offerings, and sharing its story with the world.
She continued, “The kind of Tourism or activities or the destination places that we have to offer to these contestants is going to be great, and I’m so happy to be a part of this event.”
Meanwhile, capitalising on the opportunity, the Telangana government is aiming to turn Miss World into a tourism powerhouse for the state through several key initiatives.
