Foreign Minister S Jaishankar exercised his voting rights today during the 6th phase of Lok Sabha elections in Delhi. Being the first male voter at his designated polling booth, S Jaishankar received a certificate for voting.
Expressing his confidence in the electorate’s support for the Modi government, S Jaishankar emphasized the importance of voter turnout, calling it a decisive moment for the country. He expressed optimism about the BJP’s return to power in the polls.
Later, S Jaishankar shared a photo of himself holding the voting certificate on X, formerly known as Twitter, urging all voters to participate in the ongoing phase of elections.
Voting is underway in several states, including Bihar, Bengal, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. The counting of votes is scheduled for June 4, following the conclusion of the election’s last phase on June 1.
