President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a crucial meeting with Minister of Justice, Counselor Omar Marwan, today, marking a significant step towards enhancing legal frameworks and bolstering justice mechanisms in Egypt.
According to Counselor Dr. Ahmed Fahmy, the Spokesman for the Presidency, President El-Sisi was briefed on measures to activate the law regarding the National Alliance for Civil Development Work as well as efforts underway to establish coordination mechanisms within the framework of the law. He said, “This aims to deepen the concept of volunteering in civil work, promote humanitarian and community values, mobilize national efforts toward social and economic development, and support the implementation of social development initiatives through the coordination between the relevant state authorities and civil society.”
Further, during the meeting, discussions also centered on the progress of the establishment of the City of Justice in the New Administrative Capital. Significantly, this project is a pivotal component of ongoing endeavors to comprehensively develop the litigation system and modernize its mechanisms. President El-Sisi reiterated directives to intensify development efforts, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of justice to all citizens.
President El-Sisi emphasized the paramount importance of upholding the rule of law with utmost integrity and equality. He underscored the need for the impartial application of laws, ensuring that justice is served without discrimination. Additionally, he stressed the protection of citizens’ rights and society as a whole, emphasizing the government’s commitment to ensuring fairness and accountability within the legal system.
