On March 12, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi engaged in a telephone conversation with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, extending heartfelt wishes to the Palestinian people on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. President El-Sisi particularly emphasized his concern for the dire humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, expressing unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
During the call, President El-Sisi reiterated Egypt’s steadfast commitment to assisting the Palestinian people and its relentless efforts to broker a ceasefire in Gaza. Egypt stands in solidarity with Palestine, affirming its support for the Palestinian people’s right to an independent state.
President Abbas expressed gratitude for President El-Sisi’s compassionate gesture and conveyed the Palestinian people’s appreciation for Egypt’s sincere endeavors in advocating for their rights. He invoked blessings upon Egypt and its citizens, praying for security and prosperity during the holy month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi also held conversation with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Dr. Ahmed Fahmy, said the two presidents exchanged greetings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. President El-Sisi expressed his wishes for good, security, and stability for the Syrian people, asking Allah to protect the Arab and Islamic nations from all harm. President al-Assad appreciated the kind call and wished that the month of Ramadan would bring prosperity to Egypt and its people.
