President El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s steadfast rejection of any attempt to displace Palestinians to Egypt, a stance supported by the international community. Macron echoed France’s unwavering support for Egypt’s position on the matter.
The discussion underscored the perilous implications of military escalation in Rafah, with both presidents highlighting the catastrophic humanitarian consequences for the 1.5 million Palestinians in the area.
