Dubai has taken a significant step to bolster travel between India and the Gulf nation by introducing a five-year multiple-entry visa.
The initiative, announced by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), aims to foster sustained economic collaborations and encourage tourism and business ties between the two countries.
It is pertinent to note that the new five-year multiple-entry visa is expected to provide operational flexibility for both business engagements and leisure travel. Issued within 2-5 working days upon receiving and accepting the service request, the visa allows holders to stay in the country for up to 90 days, with the possibility of extending once for a similar period, totaling a maximum stay of 180 days in one year.
With this initiative, tourists can leverage multiple entries and exits, facilitating seamless connectivity and enhancing the overall travel experience.
Bader Ali Habib, Regional Head of Proximity Markets at Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, expressed optimism about the impact of this historic milestone initiative. He emphasized its role in opening doors to longer and more enriching experiences for Indian tourists while also providing a platform for increased economic collaboration between the two nations.
