Actor Divya Agarwal has addressed recent rumours about her marriage to Apurva Padgaonkar. Speculation arose after she removed wedding photos from her social media accounts. In a detailed note on Instagram, Divya Agarwal clarified her actions, emphasizing that while she deleted numerous posts, the media fixated solely on those related to her wedding.
“I made no noise… I made no comments or stories… I deleted 2500 posts, yet the media chose to see and react only to my marriage,” Divya Agarwal wrote on Instagram. She highlighted how people often hold certain expectations of her, which she frequently defies.
“It’s amusing how people perceive and anticipate things from me. I have always done the unexpected. And now, what are they expecting – babies or divorce? Neither is happening,” added the ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ winner.
Further, Divya Agarwal stressed her desire to be acknowledged for her professional work and confirmed that she and her husband are happily married. “In reality, the first pinned post on my profile (Cartel review) is what I want to be discussed from now onwards. Every movie concludes with a happily ever after, and by God’s grace, my husband is snoring away to glory right next to me,” she concluded.
Divya Agarwal and restaurateur Apurva Padgaonkar were married on February 20, 2024, in a ceremony at her residence in Chembur. Reflecting on her relationship with Apurva, the ‘Cartel’ actor previously shared with ETimes, “He has brought me back to life. When my father passed away, I had stopped going to the temple, I had stopped believing in things. But he reinstated faith in my life, so for that, I’ll always be grateful to him.”
