In a tragic incident in East Delhi’s New Ashok Nagar, a nursing student was found dead in her locked room, leading authorities to suspect suicide. The distressing discovery was made following a PCR call reporting that the girl was lying unconscious behind a locked door.
Upon arrival, police and fire department personnel forced entry into the room to find the young woman with a cannula in her hand and two intravenous drips hanging from a ceiling fan. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Centralised Accident and Trauma Services (CATS) medical staff. Her body was subsequently transferred to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital for further examination. Authorities have seized her mobile phone as part of the ongoing investigation and have notified her family.
In an unrelated incident, Delhi experienced another fatal accident on Saturday when an 18-year-old boy was killed after an outdoor air conditioning unit fell on him. The tragic event occurred in the Karol Bagh area around 7 PM.
