A private car carrying 4 individuals burst into flames suddenly in Muzaffarnagar, according to the local fire department on Friday.
The car, owned by Uttar Pradesh home guard chief Arun Kumar Thakur, caught fire while en route to Aghoriya Bazaar. Upon noticing smoke emanating from the vehicle, Thakur and the other occupants promptly jumped out to safety.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, and the incident sparked brief chaos in the area. Local residents alerted the fire department, prompting a swift response.
Arun Kumar Thakur recounted that the car broke down unexpectedly, filling with smoke within moments. Fortunately, all occupants managed to exit the vehicle unharmed.
Fire Department Commandant Trilok Nath Jha reported that firefighters extinguished the blaze after approximately thirty minutes of operations. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
