Regarding the film’s occupancy, according to the same source, Chandramukhi 2 achieved a 51.90 percent occupancy rate for its Tamil screenings on Thursday. In contrast, the Telugu and Hindi showings recorded occupancy rates of 42.65 percent and 12.77 percent, respectively. It’s noteworthy that this Tamil film premiered on Thursday alongside two Hindi films, “The Vaccine War” and “Fukrey 3,” coinciding with the Eid-e-Milad an-Nabi and Ganpati Visarjan holiday in certain regions of India.

Chandramukhi 2 is the sequel to the highly successful Tamil horror-comedy, Chandramukhi, which featured Rajinikanth and Jyothika in prominent roles. Kangana portrays the character of a dancer in the king’s royal court, renowned for her grace and dancing skills. Initially scheduled for release on September 15, the film’s premiere was postponed to September 28 due to technical issues. The film’s musical score has been composed by M. M. Keeravani. Among the film’s musical highlights are a family song titled “Thori Bori,” showcasing the family relocating to the mansion, Kangana’s dance performance in “Swagathaanjali,” and Raghava Lawrence’s dance number in “Moruniye,” all skillfully crafted by Keeravani.
