Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], November 13 (ANI): The National Spokesperson of the Congress party, Ragini Nayak took a potshot at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alleging that black money and BJP leaders are synonymous with each other.

Congress leader Nayak labelled the allegations while talking to the reporters in the state Congress office in Bhopal on Monday. She raised the allegations in view of another video of Union Minister and BJP candidate for upcoming state assembly polls Narendra Singh Tomar’s son, Devendra Singh which surfaced on social media about making deals worth crores with some businessmen.

“The video of Union Minister Tomar’s son going viral again and again so now I have to say that along with 50 per cent commission, black money has become synonymous with BJP leaders. We have seen the previous video in which deals worth crores were heard and now a new video of Tomar’s son surfaced in which deals worth five times more than that of previous one is heard in hawala dealing and black money,” Nayak said.

He further recalled the slogan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that “Neither will eat (referring to corruption) nor will let anyone eat” and questioned why PM Modi is silent on the issue.

“It is the slogan of the BJP and is applicable in all the BJP-ruled states so why CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan is silent on the issue?” questioned Nayak.

“There is a saying that ‘silence means yes’ so can it be considered that the crores of hawala dealing being heard in the video is true? Can it be considered that such dealing has the protection of PM Modi ji and CM Chouhan? PM Modi is silent, it means he is protecting Tomar’s son,” the Congress leader alleged.

Nayak further said that about 95 per cent of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids conducted since 2014 were on the leaders of the Opposition or people associated with the Opposition. But why are the ED, IT and CBI missing in Madhya Pradesh?

“The Election Commission (EC) should take a suo moto cognizance into the matter and take immediate action. There should be a judicial inquiry headed by a retired Supreme Court judge. Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar should be dismissed from the cabinet till investigation. A case of money laundering should be registered immediately and ED, IT and CBI should investigate it. PM Modi and CM Chouhan should answer, otherwise, their involvement will also be considered,” She added.

Notably, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar is in the fray for upcoming assembly polls scheduled to be held this week from the Dimani assembly seat in Morena district.

The state is set to undergo polls on November 17 and the counting of votes will take place on December 3. Voters will choose legislators from 230 Assembly constituencies. (ANI)
