7 people died and 5 injured in a road accident near NH-2 in Sivasagar, Rohtas district, Bihar, at around 3 a.m. on Wednesday.
According to the police, all these people were returning from Ranchi to their native village in Scorpio. There was a direct collision between the Scorpio and the container near Pakhnari NH-2 under Sivasagar police station. In which seven people riding Scorpio died on the spot. Whereas, in view of the serious condition of five people, they have been referred to the Higher Centre.
All the dead are said to be from the same family or relatives. There were a total of 12 people on Scorpio, which included men, women, and children. All were returning to Kudari village under the Sabar police station in Kaimur district. Scorpio and a container collided in the Shivsagar police station area near Pakhnari in Rohtas district.
The deceased included Tara Kumari (18), Chandni Kumari (15), Arvind Sharma (50), Rajmati Devi (50), Aditya Kumar (8), Riya Kumari (9), and Soni Kumari (35). The dead include three teenagers, two women, one man, and one teenager.
The injured include Ravi Nandan Priyadarshi (30), Ritu Sharma (14), Sudeshwar Sharma (60), Divya Kumari (25), and Upendra Sharma (30). Five injured people have been referred from Sadar Hospital Sasaram to the Higher Centre in critical condition.
