AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) MP Supriya Sule have joined the central government’s all-party delegation aimed at highlighting Pakistan’s role in cross-border terrorism. The delegations, formed after India launched Operation Sindoor against terror hubs in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Punjab province, will travel to key global capitals to put forward India’s case. Both leaders emphasized the need to show unity and expose Pakistan’s misleading narrative about terrorism and its portrayal as an Islamic nation.
Asaduddin Owaisi Vows to Expose Pakistan’s Hypocrisy
Speaking to the media, Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi stressed the importance of educating the international community about Pakistan’s history of sponsoring terrorism. He cited examples such as the Kandahar hijacking, the 2001 Parliament attack, the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, and more recent incidents like Uri, Pathankot, Reasi, and Pahalgam.
Asaduddin Owaisi directly targeted Pakistan’s attempts to frame itself as an Islamic state, calling such claims “bakwas” (nonsense). “India has also nearly 20 crore Muslims living peacefully. Pakistan’s narrative needs to be countered globally,” he said. Although unsure about the specific team he will join or who will chair it, Owaisi affirmed his commitment to narrating India’s side of the story to the world.
Supriya Sule Sends Message of Unity
NCP leader Supriya Sule also accepted the government’s invitation to join the delegation. Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, and the Ministry of External Affairs, Supriya Sule posted her response on social media platform X.
“I am honoured to join the all-party delegation representing India on the global stage. I humbly accept this responsibility. Our mission is to convey India’s united and unwavering message of zero tolerance against terrorism,” she said. Supriya Sule also thanked the voters of her Baramati Lok Sabha constituency for their continued support and underscored that the Aim of the mission was to demonstrate India’s collective stance against terror.
The participation of leaders across party lines, including those often in opposition to the central government, signals an important diplomatic push to unify India’s narrative abroad amid rising concerns of terrorism emanating from Pakistan’s soil.
