Home Minister Amit Shah targeted the Samajwadi Party (SP) during his campaign rallies in Uttar Pradesh, highlighting issues of power shortages and mafia harassment faced by the state’s residents during the SP’s tenure.
Speaking at various rallies in Maharajganj, Deoria, Ballia, and Robertsganj, Amit Shah emphasized the choice before voters in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He contrasted the SP’s governance with the BJP’s track record, particularly focusing on the development of the Ram temple and security for devotees.
Amit Shah accused the SP of allowing mafia activities to flourish during its rule and criticized the party for electricity shortages, highlighting how power supply was reportedly inconsistent, especially during festivals like Janmashtami.
He also took aim at the SP and Congress alliance, ridiculing their potential excuses for defeat and predicting poor electoral performance for their leaders, Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav.
Furthermore, Amit Shah asserted the BJP’s commitment to protecting the rights of marginalized communities and tackling terrorism effectively, citing surgical strikes and decisive actions against terrorist threats.
During his rallies, Amit Shah promised development initiatives, such as the construction of a new sugar mill in Maharajganj, and highlighted the BJP government’s efforts to address issues like Naxalism and water scarcity in regions like Robertsganj and Ghazipur.
Overall, Amit Shah’s speeches underscored the BJP’s governance achievements and sought to galvanize support for the party’s candidates ahead of the elections.
