The National Law University (NLU), Delhi, is set to release the admit cards for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025 on November 28, 2024. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam can download their admit cards from the official website. AILET 2025, the gateway to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD law courses at NLU Delhi, will be conducted on December 8, 2024.
The registration process for AILET 2025 closed recently, with the university notifying aspirants about certain test city changes. Exam centres will not be established in four cities—Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Kota, Shimla, and Siliguri—because fewer than 100 candidates opted for these locations. Candidates who had chosen these cities as their first preference were required to update their test city preferences.
This year, AILET 2025 will be conducted in multiple cities across the country, including Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Pune, Ranchi, Visakhapatnam, and many others.
Eligibility Criteria for AILET 2025
For undergraduate courses, candidates must have completed their Senior Secondary School examination (10+2 system) or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks. Students appearing for the Class 12 annual examinations in 2025 are also eligible to apply.
For postgraduate courses, candidates are required to have an LLB degree or an equivalent law degree with a minimum of 55% marks. Those appearing for their final-year LLB examinations in 2025 can also apply.
