Eligibility Criteria for AILET 2025About the AILET Exam

The registration process for AILET 2025 closed recently, with the university notifying aspirants about certain test city changes. Exam centres will not be established in four cities—Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Kota, Shimla, and Siliguri—because fewer than 100 candidates opted for these locations. Candidates who had chosen these cities as their first preference were required to update their test city preferences.

This year, AILET 2025 will be conducted in multiple cities across the country, including Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Pune, Ranchi, Visakhapatnam, and many others.

Eligibility Criteria for AILET 2025

For undergraduate courses, candidates must have completed their Senior Secondary School examination (10+2 system) or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks. Students appearing for the Class 12 annual examinations in 2025 are also eligible to apply.

For postgraduate courses, candidates are required to have an LLB degree or an equivalent law degree with a minimum of 55% marks. Those appearing for their final-year LLB examinations in 2025 can also apply.

For PhD programs, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in relevant social sciences or humanities with at least 55% marks.

About the AILET Exam

AILET is a prestigious national-level entrance examination conducted by NLU Delhi for admission into its law programs. The test is known for its rigorous selection process, attracting thousands of aspirants every year.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates regarding admit card downloads and test centre details. With the exam date approaching, aspirants should finalize their preparation to secure a seat at one of India’s leading law universities.

The upcoming release of AILET 2025 admit cards marks a significant milestone for candidates aiming to pursue legal education at NLU Delhi, setting the stage for what is expected to be a highly competitive examination.
