Actors Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth recently tied the knot in an intimate South Indian wedding ceremony. The couple shared their wedding photographs on Instagram, where they both donned traditional ethnic attire for the occasion. The ceremony was attended by close family members and friends and took place at a historic temple.
Aditi accompanied the photos with a heartfelt caption: “You are my Sun, my Moon, and all my Stars. To being Pixie Soulmates for eternity, to laughter, to never growing up. To Eternal Love, Light & Magic. Mrs & Mr Adu-Siddhu (sic).”
The bride wore an exquisite tissue organza lehenga featuring intricate golden zari work. She paired it with a matching golden blouse, adorned with stripes and a hand-embroidered border. Her bridal look was completed with traditional gold and ruby jewelry and a gajra in her loosely tied braid. Siddharth opted for a simple kurta with subtle embroidery, styled with a traditional veshti.
The ceremony appeared to be held early in the morning, following South Indian wedding customs. The sun shone brightly in the background of the photos, which were captured by celebrity photographer Joseph Radhik. The couple looked radiant and joyful as they posed for the camera.
Aditi and Siddharth’s love story
Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth have been in a relationship for several years. They announced their engagement earlier this year and surprised their fans with a quiet wedding on Monday, September 16. In an interview with Vogue, Aditi recounted the moment Siddharth proposed. He took her to a place where she spent her childhood with her grandmother, knowing the emotional significance it held for her.
“He got down on his knee and I asked him, ‘Now what have you lost? Whose shoelaces are open?’ He kept saying, ‘Addu, listen to me.’ And then he proposed. He said he wanted to bring me to my favourite childhood place, one with my grandmother’s blessings,” she shared.
The couple first met on the sets of their Telugu film “Maha Samudram” in 2021. Aditi recalled how Siddharth greeted her with “hello, beautiful girl” and how she felt surprisingly at ease with him. She mentioned in the interview that their connection felt so natural that even if they had met as teenagers, they would have fallen in love.
Their story is indeed a testament to a beautiful and genuine bond.
