Tarlochan Singh, the president of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Kisan Wing, was tragically shot dead on Monday evening in Khanna, Punjab. The 56-year-old leader, also known by his initials DC, was returning home from his farm in Ikolaha village when unidentified assailants ambushed him.

According to local authorities, Tarlochan Singh was found by the roadside after the attack. His son, Harpreet Tarlochan Tarlochan Singh, discovered him and, with the assistance of local residents, transported him to a nearby hospital. Harpreet Singh has alleged that the murder was the result of a long-standing enmity. He suggested that the attack was not random but rather the culmination of a personal vendetta. The police have initiated a thorough investigation into the killing, exploring all potential motives behind the assassination. Superintendent of Police Saurav Jindal confirmed that a manhunt is underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrators responsible for this heinous crime.

As the investigation continues, the local community remains on edge, and there are calls for heightened vigilance to prevent further violence. Tarlochan Singh’s family and the AAP are seeking answers and justice, hoping that the perpetrators of this crime will be held accountable and that such incidents will be prevented in the future.
