Islamabad, 20 Aug: Eleven workers were killed in a terrorist attack in the North Waziristan area of Pakistan. The workers were being transported in a van that was blown up by the terrorists. Two other workers were injured in the attack. They were shifted to a hospital.
According to the local media, Deputy Commissioner Rehan Gul Khattak said the workers were residents of Wana village in Makin Tahasil of South Waziristan. The incident occurred within a few weeks of a terrorist attack in Bajour by a suicide bomber, in which 63 people including 23 children were killed. Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack.
