Wedding rumours surrounding Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have gained momentum after the duo was spotted at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. The couple is reportedly set to tie the knot on 26 February 2026 in Udaipur, with preparations already underway.
At the airport, Rashmika Mandanna was seen wearing a tilak on her forehead while covering her face with a mask. She opted for a half-sleeved T-shirt paired with black lowers and black shoes, accessorised with dark glasses. Almost simultaneously, Vijay Deverakonda was also spotted at the airport, keeping a low profile with dark glasses and a face mask.
Speculation intensified after a wedding card allegedly featuring their names went viral on social media. The card mentioned that Rashmika and Vijay would get married on 26.02.26 in a small and private ceremony with close family members and loved ones.
Actress Confirms Marriage, Grand Preparations Underway in Udaipur
According to a report by The Indian Express citing journalist Subhash K. Jha, Rashmika Mandanna indirectly confirmed the wedding. When congratulated through an online message, she reportedly responded with a “thank you,” instead of denying the news, which has been interpreted as confirmation.
A report by Navbharat Times claims that the couple has hired a popular Delhi-based wedding band that has previously performed at several celebrity weddings. Additionally, a Hyderabad-based wedding planner has been appointed, known for organising the wedding of a prominent tennis player.
Sources indicate that ITC Grand Bharat has been booked for the celebrations. Guests are expected to check in on 24 February, with bookings spanning 24, 25 and 26 February. Around 230 guests are reportedly invited, and all are expected to stay at the hotel, which houses 117 rooms.
Earlier, Vijay Deverakonda’s residence in Hyderabad was seen decorated with lights, further fuelling wedding speculation. Videos circulating online suggest that preparations at his home are in full swing.
Reception in Hyderabad After Udaipur Ceremony
Reports suggest that after the private wedding ceremony in Udaipur, the couple will host a reception in Hyderabad on 3 and 4 March. The event is expected to witness the presence of several film industry personalities and may be held at a premium venue in Hyderabad or Banjara Hills.
According to NDTV, the wedding will follow a strict no-phone policy to prevent images from leaking. A reputed security agency has reportedly been hired to manage arrangements and ensure privacy.
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna were reportedly engaged on 3 October in Hyderabad in a private ceremony attended by close family members. Although the couple has not made an official announcement, Rashmika has been seen wearing an engagement ring on multiple occasions.
Amid earlier engagement rumours, Rashmika stated in an interview with Hotterfly that she would neither confirm nor deny the marriage at that time, adding that the couple would speak when the time was right.
