Whichever house has a Tulsi plant, gets the blessings of all the gods and goddesses. Tulsi is considered to be the form of Mother Lakshmi. It is said that worshipping Tulsi daily brings blessings of Mother Lakshmi and brings happiness and prosperity in the house.

According to Vastu, if you plant Tulsi in the house on the right day and in the right direction, then you can get the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi. So what are you waiting for, know on which day Tulsi plant should be brought in the house and in which direction it should be planted.

Plant Tulsi on these two days

According to Vastu, it is auspicious to plant Tulsi in the house on Thursday and Friday. The reason for this is that Lord Vishnu is worshiped on Thursday. He gave Tulsi the status of a goddess and appeared in the form of Shaligram and promised to stay with her.

Friday is important because Tulsi is considered to be the form of Goddess Lakshmi. Goddess Lakshmi is worshiped on Friday to get her blessings. Therefore, it is advisable to plant Tulsi in the house on any of these two days.

Plant Tulsi in these two directions

According to Vastu, it is auspicious to plant Tulsi in the north direction. It is believed that planting Tulsi in this direction pleases Goddess Lakshmi. At the same time, Tulsi can also be planted in the east direction for economic progress.

Do not give water on Sunday and Ekadashi

By lighting a ghee lamp in front of the Tulsi plant regularly, Goddess Lakshmi is pleased and her blessings remain. Water should not be given to the Tulsi plant on Ekadashi and Sunday. Tulsi leaves should not be plucked on both these days. It is believed that doing so can anger Goddess Lakshmi.

Tulsi also gives medicinal benefits

Along with religious and spiritual benefits, Tulsi plant has many health benefits. Consuming its leaves, which are full of natural antibiotics, anti-inflammatory and antioxidants, increases immunity.
