A major coordination meeting between Noida Police, FONRWA, and representatives of various Resident Welfare Associations was held to strengthen law and order and improve civic safety across different sectors of Noida. The meeting focused on public safety concerns, traffic congestion, police patrolling, tenant verification, and coordination between residents and law enforcement agencies.

DCP Noida Saad Miya Khan attended the meeting along with senior police officials, including Additional DCP Manisha Singh, ACP Praveen Kumar Singh, Anil Kumar Pandey, Rakesh Pratap Singh, station in-charges, and several other officers. Representatives from multiple sectors raised local concerns and demanded practical and long-term solutions.

Focus On Public Safety And Verification Drives

One of the key issues discussed during the meeting was the increasing presence of anti-social activities around liquor shops and public spaces. Residents stated that people often consume alcohol openly near parks and residential areas, causing discomfort to women, children, and senior citizens.

RWA representatives urged police to intensify patrolling in vulnerable areas and take strict action against individuals creating disturbances in public places. Police officials assured that monitoring and enforcement would be strengthened in such locations.

Another major concern involved verification of domestic helpers, tenants, and people living in paying guest accommodations. Residents emphasized that unverified occupants could pose security risks in residential sectors. Police agreed to intensify verification campaigns and improve monitoring mechanisms.

Women’s safety also remained a major point of discussion. Representatives demanded increased night patrolling in residential areas to ensure a stronger sense of security among residents.

Traffic Congestion Emerges As Major Concern

Traffic management remained one of the most discussed topics during the meeting. Representatives from sectors 12, 19, 29, 37, 55, 56, 62, and 117 highlighted the growing traffic congestion affecting daily commuters.

Residents complained that severe jams during morning and evening peak hours are causing inconvenience to office workers, school students, and senior citizens. Many stated that road congestion has worsened due to increasing vehicle movement and poor traffic discipline.

Special attention was also given to traffic issues near schools in sectors 39, 40, and 50. RWAs suggested creating designated parking and stopping zones for school buses to reduce road blockages during school timings.

Police officials assured that traffic improvement plans would be prepared in coordination with concerned departments. Additional deployment of traffic personnel at congestion-prone points was also discussed.

Monthly Coordination Meetings Proposed

FONRWA President Yogendra Sharma appreciated the proactive approach of the police department and assured complete cooperation from RWAs in maintaining peace and law and order in the city.

FONRWA General Secretary K.K. Jain suggested that every police station should organize monthly meetings with RWAs from their respective sectors. According to him, regular interaction between residents and police would help identify problems quickly and improve public trust in law enforcement agencies.

DCP Saad Miya Khan assured all participants that the concerns raised during the meeting would be addressed on priority. He emphasized that active participation from citizens is essential for maintaining a safe and peaceful urban environment.

He further stated that Noida Police would continue strengthening coordination with RWAs and ensure regular communication at both police station and senior officer levels.

Large Participation From Resident Representatives

The meeting witnessed participation from a large number of RWA representatives and social workers from different sectors of Noida. Participants actively raised concerns related to security, traffic management, and public convenience.

Police officials listened carefully to the suggestions and assured that efforts would be made to implement practical solutions. The meeting is being seen as an important step toward improving cooperation between police authorities and residents in Noida.

Authorities believe that regular interaction and joint efforts between citizens and police can significantly improve safety standards, reduce traffic challenges, and create a more secure environment across the city.
