In a significant update, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced the launch of its new website under a new domain address.
Effective from February 17, 2024, the website is now accessible at https://ssc.gov.in/, replacing the previous address, https://ssc.nic.in/.
Apart from the domain change, the new website features a completely revamped look and feel. Despite this update, the Commission assured that the old website will remain accessible through a link on the new website.
However, the Commission emphasized the importance of users re-registering for One Time Registration (OTR) on the new website. Any OTR previously completed on the old website (https://ssc.nic.in/) is now considered null and void.
“All candidates are advised to complete fresh One Time Registration (OTR) on the new website of the Commission, i.e., https://ssc.gov.in/. Any OTR completed on the previous version of the Commission’s website, i.e., https://ssc.nic.in/, is now invalid,” the statement emphasized.
Furthermore, detailed instructions for OTR are available under the ‘For Candidates > Special Instructions > Instructions for filling OTR’ section on the new website. Additionally, all future examination applications must be submitted online through the new website, i.e., https://ssc.gov.in/, exclusively.
