The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has stepped into the digital era with the launch of its brand new website, https://ssc.gov.in/, effective February 17, 2024. This move replaces the previous domain, https://ssc.nic.in/, and reflects the commission’s commitment to modernization and a smoother user experience for candidates.
Revamped Look and Feel
The new website boasts a completely redesigned interface, ditching the old look for a fresh and intuitive experience. Navigation has been simplified, making it easier for candidates to find crucial information about upcoming exams, eligibility criteria, and application procedures.
Riding the Digital Wave
Notably, institutions like BVB Delhi Kendra have also launched and revamped their online platforms, including websites and even YouTube channels that are experiencing significant growth. This highlights the growing awareness of the importance of a strong digital presence in today’s world.
Smooth Transition, Seamless Access
It is pertinent to note that, despite the shift, the SSC emphasized that some users might be familiar with the old website. To ensure a smooth transition, a link to the old website is provided on the new platform, offering continued access for those who need it.
Mandatory Re-Registration for Users
Further, in a statement released, the Staff Selection Commission said, to ensure updated and accurate data, all users are required to re-register for One Time Registration (OTR) on the new website. As any previous OTRs from the old platform are no longer valid. This is a crucial step in maintaining a secure and efficient system for candidates.
Clear Instructions and Future Focus
In their newly launched website, the SSC has taken steps to make the transition as easy as possible. Detailed instructions for OTR are readily available under the “For Candidates > Special Instructions > Instructions for filling OTR” section on the new website. Additionally, it’s important to note that all future examination applications must be submitted exclusively through the new platform.
