The Indian vice-captain continues to lead the charts with 790 rating points, maintaining a comfortable lead over her closest competitors. South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt remains in second place with 782 points, while other top batters continue to chase the Indian star’s consistent form. Mandhana’s ability to deliver steady performances across formats has helped her remain the world’s top-ranked ODI batter for an extended period.
Mandhana’s achievement highlights her importance in India’s batting lineup and her consistent impact in international cricket. During the recent tour of Australia, the left-handed opener scored 89 runs across three matches. Although the series proved difficult for India overall, Mandhana’s ranking remained unaffected due to her overall consistency and previous performances. Her elegant stroke play, calm temperament and ability to anchor innings have made her one of the most reliable batters in women’s cricket.
India captain Harmanpreet Kaur continues to hold the eighth position in the ICC ODI batting rankings, ensuring that India still has two players in the top ten. Harmanpreet scored 132 runs during the ODI series against Australia, including a highest score of 54. Her ability to accelerate the scoring rate and guide the middle order has been crucial for India over the years. The experienced batter remains a key figure in the Indian women’s cricket team and continues to contribute significantly with the bat.
Meanwhile, Indian batter Jemimah Rodrigues slipped one place in the rankings and is now positioned at 12th. The right-hander managed 61 runs in three matches during the Australia series, which resulted in a slight drop in her ranking. India’s recent tour of Australia ended on a challenging note. Australia also went on to defeat India by 10 wickets in a one-off day-night Test match on March 8. Despite the mixed results in the tour, several Indian players managed to maintain their positions in the ICC rankings due to consistent performances across previous series.
The latest ICC rankings also saw significant improvements for players from New Zealand. The White Ferns currently hold a commanding 2–0 lead over Zimbabwe in their ongoing three-match ODI series, and several of their players have made strong gains in the rankings. Captain Amelia Kerr delivered outstanding performances with the ball, taking 11 wickets in just two matches. Her impressive spell included a remarkable seven-wicket haul in the second ODI.

Sri Lankan player Imesha Dulani also gained 17 places to reach the 72nd position following her unbeaten score of 34 in the same match. Her performance played an important role in helping her team finish the series strongly.
Another Sri Lankan player, Kavisha Dilhari, improved her position in multiple categories.
