Shoaib Malik has entered into his third marriage with Pakistani actor Sana Javed, confirming the news through their social media accounts. The former Pakistan cricket captain was previously married to tennis star Sania Mirza, with whom he shares a five-year-old son named Izaan. Sania Mirza recently posted a cryptic quote on her Instagram stories about the challenges of marriage and divorce.
Sania and Malik tied the knot in 2010 and resided in the UAE. Sana Javed, on the other hand, had a previous marriage with singer Umar Jaswal, which took place in 2020 but ended in separation last November.
Sania Mirza, a prominent Indian tennis player, announced her retirement from professional tennis last year after a successful career spanning two decades. She achieved numerous milestones in her career, including winning 43 WTA doubles titles and one singles trophy. Additionally, she was a mentor to the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise in the Women’s Premier League.
Shoaib Malik, who continues to actively participate in T20 cricket worldwide, has not retired from the shortest format of the game.
