Saudi Arabia’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Walid Al Khuraiji, engaged in discussions with Miguel Moratinos, the High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), on the sidelines of the third Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Türkiye.
Their meeting centered around avenues to bolster the relationship between Saudi Arabia and the UNAOC. Further, speaking of the talks focused, the UNAOC said, “Reiterated the support of Saudi Arabia to the work and mandate of UNAOC”.
Moreover, the high-level meeting was also attended by Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Fahad Abulnaser, and the Director General of the Vice Minister’s Office, Mutashar Al-Enezi.
In addition to the discussions with the UNAOC High Representative, Saudi Foreign Minister also held bilateral talks with prominent figures during the Forum in Turkiye. These included Deputy Foreign Minister of Vietnam, Nguyen Minh Hang, EU Special Representative for the Gulf region Luigi Di Maio, and Janaina Tewaney Mencomo, Foreign Minister of Panama.
The meeting with Vietnam’s Foreign Minister focused on bolstering bilateral ties across diverse sectors, while talks with Luigi Di Maio emphasized on joint endeavors between Saudi Arabia and the European Union, and strategies for their enhancement.
Furthermore, discussions with Panama’s Foreign Minister centered on reviewing bilateral relations and devising plans to fortify and expand collaboration across various realms, alongside addressing mutual concerns and interests.
