Reflecting on the highs and lows of his journey, he credited badminton as his constant companion and acknowledged the profound impact it has had on shaping his character.
Among the standout moments of Sai Praneeth’s career is his historic bronze medal win at the 2019 World Championships in Switzerland. This landmark achievement not only solidified his place in Indian badminton history but also showcased his prowess on the global stage.
Another crowning moment in Sai Praneeth’s career came at the 2017 Singapore Open, where he emerged victorious after defeating compatriot Srikanth Kidambi in a thrilling final. This triumph further cemented his reputation as one of India’s top shuttlers.
Throughout his career, Sai Praneeth made invaluable contributions to the Indian badminton team, securing two bronze medals in the men’s team events at the Asia Team Championships in 2016 and 2020. His dedication and leadership on the court earned him the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2019.
