In an article for Vanity Fair, Caroline Rose Giuliani expressed her dismay over her father’s close association with Donald Trump, saying she was “grieving the loss of my dad to Donald Trump” and fears the potential loss of the country to him as well.
Caroline Rose Giuliani’s endorsement comes at a tumultuous time for Rudy Giuliani, who was permanently disbarred from practicing law in Washington, D.C., on September 23. The federal appeals court ruling cited his efforts to discredit the 2020 election results and prevent the peaceful transition of power after Donald Trump lost the presidency.

Rudy Giuliani, who served as mayor of New York City from 2001 to 2004, formally joined Donald Trump’s legal team in 2018, two years after advising him during the 2016 presidential campaign. He remained one of Donald Trump’s key legal advisors during the 2020 election, a role that ultimately led to his disbarment.

In a scathing critique of Donald Trump, Caroline Rose Giuliani described the former president as “a 34-time convicted felon” who has been found liable for sexual abuse, tried to steal elections, and demeans people based on their race, sexuality, disability, and gender. She urged Americans to choose Kamala Harris, whom she described as a “lifelong public servant” dedicated to justice and fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves.
This is not Caroline Rose Giuliani’s first time endorsing a Democrat over Donald Trump. In 2016, she voiced her support for Hillary Clinton, stating on Facebook that she had been “pro-Hillary all along.”
