Washington [US], August 17 (ANI): Priscilla Presley marked the 47th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s passing with a heartfelt tribute shared on Instagram.
The emotional post, which was shared on August 16, 2024, commemorates the day the iconic musician died of a heart attack at the age of 42 in 1977.
In her tribute, Priscilla, 79, posted a poignant video that features a youthful image of Elvis, gradually zooming out, accompanied by an instrumental version of his 1972 hit, ‘Always on My Mind.’
The caption accompanying the video reads, “47 years and not a day goes by that I don’t think of you,” and includes a rose emoji.

The tribute comes just days after Priscilla honoured Elvis’s mother, Gladys Presley, on August 14.
Gladys passed away in 1958, and Priscilla shared another touching video, reflecting on the significant role Gladys played in Elvis’s life. “She meant the world to him,” Priscilla wrote, sharing anecdotes about Gladys’s protective nature and the deep bond she had with her son.

Reflecting on her visits to Graceland, Priscilla revealed, “To be honest, there isn’t a day [that] goes by when I don’t think of him.”
