President Erdogan affirms Turkiye’s Firm Commitment to Gaza

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reaffirmed Turkiye’s unwavering support for Gaza and Palestine, emphasizing the nation’s diplomatic endeavors and humanitarian aid. In a recent address, President Erdogan stressed Turkiye’s steadfast commitment, asserting that the resolution to the ongoing crisis necessitates a unified global approach, particularly within the Islamic world.

“Turkiye is doing its best for Gaza and Palestine, and will continue to do so. However, the resolution to the problem requires an efficient and determined unity of understanding at international level. Especially, the Islamic world needs, more than ever, to come together as one like the bricks of a wall. There is no need to explain how international organizations, which should stop this atrocity, have been paralyzed, how those, who merely want to make this atrocity be heard, are pressurized, and how the deviance of fascism has become rampant,” the President said.

Highlighting the dire situation in Gaza, President Erdogan condemned the construction of the first Jewish residential unit in the region, labeling it as a blatant act of theft and dishonor. He warned against the legitimization of such usurpation, emphasizing that nations complicit in these actions may face similar injustices in the future.

“None of the countries and nations, which have been legitimizing the systematic acts of usurpation that have been going on in the Palestinian territories since the Second World War, will have a safe future. When the acts of murder and theft, which they deem proper for the Palestinians today, will be imposed on them tomorrow, these countries and nations will not have the face to ask for help. The aim of this bitter but true view is not to threaten anyone, but to remind what will happen in the future.”

Further, President Erdogan lamented the paralysis of international organizations in addressing the atrocities unfolding in Palestine, criticizing the pressure faced by those attempting to amplify these issues. He underscored the need for unity and solidarity among nations to confront the escalating deviance of fascism.

Amidst these global challenges, President Erdogan also addressed domestic economic concerns, expressing determination to tackle inflation, foster growth, strengthen the state, and improve the livelihoods of workers and retirees.
