In a ceremony held at Al Baraka Al-Amer Palace, Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tarik accepted the credentials of several Ambassadors accredited to Oman. Each Ambassador presented their credentials separately, signifying the importance of bilateral relations between Oman and their respective countries.
Among the Ambassadors received were Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahad bin Jassim Al Thani, the Ambassador of Qatar; Ana Escrogima, the Ambassador of the United States of America; Alfredo Cesar Martinho Leoni, the Ambassador of Brazil; Abdusalam Khatamov, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan; and Mousa Farhang, the Ambassador of Iran.
Meanwhile, during their individual meetings with Sultan Haitham, the Ambassadors conveyed warm greetings and well wishes from the leaders of their respective countries. They expressed hopes for the Sultan’s good health, happiness, and long life, as well as for the progress, prosperity, and development of the Omani people.
The Ambassadors expressed their deep honor and pleasure in presenting their credentials to Sultan Haitham. They reiterated their commitment to strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between their nations and Oman, with a focus on serving the interests of both Omani citizens and their own people.
In response, Sultan Haitham warmly welcomed the Ambassadors, expressing gratitude for the greetings and good wishes extended by the leaders of their countries. He assured them of Oman’s full support and cooperation during their tenure, emphasizing that they would receive assistance from both the government and the people of Oman in fulfilling their diplomatic duties.
