Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, has called for immediate reparations for Palestinians in Gaza following the loss of innocent lives and extensive destruction caused by the recent Israeli war on the Strip. Speaking on CNN’s “Connect the World” with Becky Anderson, Sayyid Badr emphasized the critical need for comprehensive collective efforts to address the humanitarian crisis facing the Palestinian people.
In his interview, Sayyid Badr highlighted the urgency of securing sustainable peace in Gaza and urged the international community to take swift actions to achieve it. He stressed the importance of a unified and bold approach to pressure Israel into ensuring the delivery of relief supplies in sufficient quantities to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the conflict.
Addressing the escalating tensions in the Red Sea region, the Minister emphasized the complexity of regional dynamics and underscored the necessity of engaging all parties in dialogue. He emphasized that genuine progress can only be made through the courage to engage in dialogue with those holding strongly opposing views and opinions.
Further, Sayyid Badr reiterated Oman’s steadfast rejection of violence and its unwavering commitment to peace and stability in the region and the broader international community. He called upon world leaders and all relevant parties to join concerted efforts in addressing these challenges directly, courageously, and convincingly.
