As the clock ticks down, aspiring candidates for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024 are reminded that the registration deadline set by the National Testing Agency (NTA) is fast approaching. With just a few days left until March 16, 2024, candidates have until 10:50 pm to complete their registration process, while the deadline for payment submission extends until 11:50 pm.

The NTA has outlined varying application fees for different categories of candidates: Rs 1,700 for General category and NRI candidates, Rs 1,600 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL candidates, and Rs 1,000 for SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender candidates. For those awaiting updates on the correction window and the release of admit cards, the NTA assures that this information will be communicated on its website in due course.

Since the commencement of the registration process on February 9, 2024, stakeholders have closely followed the evolving deadlines. Initially set for March 9, 2024, the registration period saw an extension following numerous representations requesting changes in NEET UG-2024 and an extended registration window.

Marked for May 5, 2024, the NEET UG 2024 exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 5:20 pm in 14 cities across India and internationally.

To ensure a smooth application process, candidates must prepare the necessary documents, including scanned images of their recent passport-sized photograph, postcard-sized photograph, signature, left and right hand fingers and thumb impressions, category certificate (if applicable), citizenship certificate (if applicable), PwBD certificate (wherever applicable), and proof of present and permanent address.

The recent photograph should clearly depict the candidate with 80% of their face (without a mask) visible against a white background, either in color or black and white.
