The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued forecasts indicating the imminent arrival of monsoon in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Bihar by June 19-20. Anticipating significant rainfall, IMD also placed Delhi under an orange alert amidst prevailing heatwave conditions. The forecast predicts heavy downpours across Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Northwest Bay of Bengal, and parts of West Bengal and Bihar in the next few days.

IMD forecasts the onset of monsoon in the southwest region post June 19-20, signaling a shift in weather patterns crucial for agricultural sectors and water management.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh continues to battle severe heatwaves until June 18, with districts like Bulandshahr, Varanasi, and Agra under a red alert. The national capital, along with Punjab and Haryana, faces an orange alert due to intense heatwave conditions.

In Guwahati, heavy rainfall has led to severe waterlogging in areas such as Anil Nagar and Chandmari, severely disrupting daily life. IMD has issued alerts for Assam and Meghalaya, predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall until June 20, with exceptionally heavy rainfall expected on June 18.

Authorities in Sikkim are actively responding to flooding concerns, assessing the situation in flood-affected areas to ensure swift action and support for affected communities.

Given the variability in weather conditions across the country, maintaining robust health practices is crucial before and during the monsoons due to the high possibility of getting flu, fever or viral infection. In such a situation, you can protect yourself from the diseases by strengthening your immunity which is only possible when you change your eating habits.

Eating clean and fresh food can protect you from various seasonal diseases. Along with this, you can include Ayurveda in your diet, many herbs mentioned in Ayurveda are the best source for increasing immunity. To make it easier, you can consume Dabur Chyawanprash. It is made from mixture of more than 40 potent herbs like Amla, Giloy, Bilva etc which has medicinal benefits. These herbs contain antiviral, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties. Consuming Dabur Chyawanprash regularly can help you in strengthening your immune system and overall health.

As India prepares to navigate through diverse weather challenges, staying informed and proactive remains essential to safeguard communities and mitigate the impact of natural adversities.
