Indian cricket team spinner Kuldeep Yadav and his wife Vanshika hosted a grand wedding reception in Lucknow that brought together prominent personalities from cricket and politics. The lavish celebration took place on March 17 at The Centrum Hotel in Lucknow where hundreds of guests gathered to congratulate the newly married couple. Kuldeep and Vanshika had earlier tied the knot in a private ceremony in Mussoorie on March 14 attended only by close friends and family members. However the reception in Lucknow was organised on a much larger scale and turned into a star studded event. Several well known cricketers and political leaders attended the ceremony making it one of the most talked about celebrations in the city.

Among the distinguished guests present at the event was Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who personally attended the reception and blessed the couple. During the event Kuldeep greeted the Chief Minister respectfully and received his blessings. Another prominent political leader present at the reception was Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav who congratulated the newly married couple. The presence of leaders from different political backgrounds reflected the respect Kuldeep enjoys beyond the cricket field. Several cricket personalities also attended the reception including Indian team head coach Gautam Gambhir along with players like Rishabh Pant Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja attended the event with his wife Rivaba Jadeja and congratulated the couple. The reception was hosted at The Centrum located in Sushant Golf City in Lucknow which is known for hosting high profile events and celebrity weddings. The venue was decorated with elaborate floral arrangements elegant lighting and a stage design inspired by Lucknow’s Nawabi culture. Reports suggest that preparations were made to accommodate more than 900 guests. Kuldeep and Vanshika arrived at the venue in a vintage Rolls Royce car adding a touch of grandeur to the celebration. Guests were welcomed with traditional hospitality and live music performances added to the festive atmosphere throughout the evening. The catering arrangements were also designed to offer a premium experience with around 52 dishes served along with live cooking stations featuring freshly prepared delicacies. The buffet included Awadhi cuisine as well as international dishes along with desserts and specialty ice creams.
Intimate wedding ceremony in Mussoorie
While the reception in Lucknow was a grand public celebration the wedding ceremony itself was held in a private setting in Mussoorie on March 14. The ceremony was attended mainly by family members and a few close friends. Cricket personalities such as Yuzvendra Chahal Rinku Singh Tilak Varma and India’s fielding coach T Dilip were present at the wedding celebrations. Videos from the event showed the players celebrating with dance and music during the festivities. Kuldeep and Vanshika have reportedly known each other since childhood making the wedding a special milestone in their long standing relationship.
Focus shifts to IPL season after wedding
After the wedding celebrations Kuldeep Yadav is expected to return to cricket as the new season of the Indian Premier League approaches. Kuldeep currently plays for the Delhi Capitals in the IPL and the team will begin its campaign against Lucknow Super Giants on April 1.
