KTM has launched an updated version of its popular 200 Duke motorcycle, introducing a new 5-inch coloured TFT display, along with other features. The upgraded model is priced at Rs 2,03,412 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it a competitive option in the entry-level performance motorcycle segment.
The new TFT display, which is derived from the third-generation KTM 390 Duke, is a key highlight of this update. The bonded glass display enhances the rider’s experience with clear, vibrant visuals. It also features a new switch cube with four-way menu controls, allowing riders to easily interact with various vehicle functions. The display supports smartphone connectivity through the KTM My-Ride app, providing access to a range of features, including music playback, incoming call management, and turn-by-turn navigation via Bluetooth.
One of the notable enhancements to the KTM 200 Duke is the introduction of Supermoto ABS mode. This feature, accessible through the TFT display, allows riders to disengage the ABS function on the rear wheel for a more dynamic riding experience. Riders can also customise their shift RPM and limit RPM using the menu switch located on the left handlebar. Additionally, the TFT display offers both dark-themed and orange-themed modes, which change based on the RPM settings.
Under the hood, the KTM 200 Duke continues to be powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, EFI engine. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 25PS and a peak torque of 19.3Nm, providing riders with a strong performance in city and highway riding conditions. The motorcycle features all-LED lighting, adding to its premium appeal. It also comes equipped with a WP upside-down (USD) front fork and a monoshock rear suspension, which enhance ride comfort and stability. The lightweight trellis frame paired with an aluminium swingarm contributes to the bike’s agility and handling.
KTM offers the 200 Duke in three striking colour options: Dark Galvano, Electronic Orange, and Metallic Silver. These colours, combined with the bike’s sharp design and advanced features, aim to appeal to young, performance-oriented riders.
With these upgrades, the KTM 200 Duke strengthens its position as a feature-rich, entry-level performance motorcycle, offering riders a combination of advanced technology, customisation options, and powerful performance at an attractive price point.
