Janhvi Kapoor expressed fascination with observing the discourse between their ideologies and how their perspectives evolved over time.
She acknowledged the stark differences in their views on caste issues, noting BR Ambedkar’s firm stance contrasted with Mahatma Gandhi’s evolving perspective. Janhvi Kapoor emphasized the importance of understanding caste dynamics, highlighting the distinction between learning about it academically versus experiencing it firsthand.
Reflecting on her schooling and upbringing, Janhvi Kapoor mentioned that caste discussions were absent both in her school and household. However, she expressed a keen interest in history, indicating her curiosity about societal issues and historical figures.
In ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’, Kapoor portrays a cricketer and revealed undergoing rigorous training, including sustaining shoulder injuries. Directed by Sharan Sharma and starring Rajkummar Rao, the film is set to release on May 31.
