The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has announced the commencement of the registration process for its 2024 Constable recruitment drive. Starting today, eligible candidates can apply for one of the 819 positions available within the force by visiting the official ITBP recruitment website at recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. After submitting these details, candidates will log into their accounts to complete the application form. The next step involves paying the application fee, followed by the submission of the form and downloading the confirmation page. It is advised that candidates take a printout of this confirmation page for their records.
Selected candidates will be placed in Level-3 of the Pay Matrix, with a salary range of Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) guidelines. The recruitment drive also includes a reservation breakdown: 458 positions are reserved for the Unreserved Category, 48 for Scheduled Castes, 70 for Scheduled Tribes, 162 for Other Backward Classes, and 81 for the Economically Weaker Section.
To be eligible for this recruitment, applicants must have passed the 10th grade from a recognized board. The age limit for candidates is between 18 and 25 years.
The selection process for ITBP Constable Recruitment 2024 involves several stages. Candidates will first undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Physical Standard Test (PST). This will be followed by a written examination, verification of original documents, and a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) or Review Medical Examination (RME). The medical examination will assess candidates’ fitness in line with the Uniform Guidelines for Recruitment Medical Examination for GOs and NGOs in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles (ARs).
This recruitment initiative aims to strengthen the ITBP’s workforce and ensure that the force remains adequately staffed to fulfill its critical duties along the Indo-Tibetan border.
