As the Paris Olympics 2024 draws near, India anticipates showcasing its golfing talent on the global stage. With the opportunity to send four golfers to the prestigious event, India’s players are actively vying for qualification through the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and the Olympic Golf Rankings (OGR).
Set against the backdrop of Le Golf National, where the Olympic Golf Competition will unfold from 1-10 August 2024, the race for qualification intensifies. A total of 120 golfers, evenly distributed between men and women, will compete for glory, with strict criteria dictating entry.
The top 15 players from the OWGR secure automatic berths, with a cap of four athletes per country. Additionally, two golfers from each nation can qualify through the OGR, provided their country does not already have multiple players in the top 15.
